Kebbi governor appoints new Auditor General for Local Government

Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has appointed Faruku Muhammad as the new Auditor General for Local Government.

The appointment was made official in a letter dated March 25, 2024, signed by the Head of the Civil Service, Safiyanu Garba Bena, and made available to the press in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.

Part of the letter reads, “I am pleased to inform you that, the Governor of Kebbi State, His Excellency, Dr Nasir Idris, has approved your appointment as Auditor General for Local Government with effect from 24th March, 2024.

“While congratulating you for this new appointment, you are expected to show total commitment, devotion and a high sense of responsibility in the discharge of your duties.”
