Kehinde Joseph Congratulates Tinubu Over Landslide Victory

• Says he is the generalissimo of Nigeria’s Democracy

• Commend the convention Committee and delegates for a hitch free primary

• Urge other aspirants and Nigerians to support the party candidates at all levels in the forthcoming polls

Lagos State Lawmaker, Hon Kehinde Olaide Joseph, representing Alimosho Constituency II, has congratulated the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu, on his landslide victory at the just concluded presidential primary of the party, held at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

According to the parliamentarian, the success of Jagaban Borgu in an evidence of his political sagacity, prowess, fecundity and leadership in unifying and accurately managing a people embedded with diversity.

He described the former Lagos governor as the generalissimo of Nigeria’s democracy because the demonstration of his influence and leadership is generally accepted not only within the All Progressives Congress but across the length and breath of the country and beyond.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who emerged as the standard-bearer of the ruling party on Wednesday, polled a total of 1, 271 votes to defeat his closest contenders, HE Rt. Rotimi Chubuike Amaechi who got 316 votes, Vice President Oluyemi Oluleke Osinbajo who got 235 votes among others.

Kehinde Joseph, in a statement by his Media and Strategic Team, noted that the emergence of Jagaban Borgu in the hitch-free electoral process was a clear indication that the country was on the verge of democratic rejuvenation.

He expressed confidence in the capacity, tenacity, doggedness and competence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver victory for the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2023 Presidential election, adding that the former Lagos governor would deploy his administrative acumen to take the country to enviable heights ever known in history.

According to him, the All Progressives Congress, APC, flag-bearer has the requisite leadership qualities, experience, knowledge and exposures to govern the country, and will consolidate on the track records of President Muhammadu Buhari when he gets to power.

He commended the All Progressives Congress, APC, 2022 Special Convention Committee for successfully conducting the primary, even as he showed glowing tributes on the Northern Governors of our party for setting pace by zoning the Presidency to the south.

Kehinde Joseph why calling on Jagaban Borgu to be magnanimous in victory, he reiterated the need for all Presidential aspirants to join hands with the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential standard-bearer and the party in ensuring victory.

“APC and the delegates have spoken loudly and clearly through their votes by picking a highly experienced, colorfully decorated and long-serving leader and manager of people embedded with diversity to become the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Your emergence at the just concluded Presidential Primary of our great party, All Progressives Congress, APC, is indeed a reward of your tireless efforts and selfless services to Nigeria and Nigerians and of course, humanity as a whole.

“You are not just a leader of leaders but a finest politician who had used his God-given wisdom and wealth to build humanity and advance the socioeconomic fortunes of our dear country.

“It is on record that your phenomenal leadership and enigmatic fortress had in no measure contributed significantly to the growth and development of Lagos State where you served as a two-term Governor and of course Nigeria as it is evident in your influence across the nooks and crannies of the country.

“With your antecedents coupled with your outstanding credentials in both private and public sectors, I have no doubt in my mind that your emergence will deliver victory for our party in all elections as this will further justify the quest to elect a candidate with unimaginable qualities that cut across spheres of life,” he said.

Kehinde Joseph in his speech, thanked the leaders of All Progressives Congress, APC, across the states, most especially HE Godswill Akpabio, HE Ibikunle Amosun, HE Kayode Fayemi, Rt. Hon Dimeji Bankole, Distinguished Senator Ajayi Borriface, HE Abubakar Badaru and Madam Uju, for their support towards the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the primary. He also lauded leaders from the South-West especially Chief Bisi Akande, Chief Segun Osoba, Comrade Adams Oshiomole, Chief Oyegun, for their guidance and critical interventions which he said ensured that an aspirant from the region emerged as the presidential candidate of the APC.

“I hereby call on well meaningful Nigerians, to support Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress, APC, candidates at all levels in the forthcoming polls”, he stressed.
