Kidnapped General Overseer reunites with family

The General Overseer of Faith Fasting and Prayer Ministry, Prophet Jay Jay Enejeta, has been released by his abductors.

Enejeta was kidnapped in the university town of Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, late Thursday while returning from church in the company of his late wife.

His wife, Pastor Ruth was shot dead during the attack.

Security sources said he was released on Saturday around 7:00 p.m. at Samagidi Community.

It was gathered that N10 million ransom was paid to the kidnappers for his release.

A police spokesman in the state, Bright Edafe, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) confirmed the cleric’s release yesterday.
