According to him, the Imota LNSC Station, consisting of offices, a mini cell, a store and conveniences, isn’t only essential but also affirms the commitment of the present administration to ensuring the safety and security of lives and properties in the State while serving as a vital hub for the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC).

“Commencing in January of this year and reaching completion this February, the Imota Station project underscores our dedication even in the face of economic challenges gripping our nation.

“The timely execution of this project speaks volumes about our resolve to prioritise the security of the people”, he said.

Mr. Governor further emphasised that security is the cornerstone of any responsible and responsive government, and the establishment of the Imota Station reflects the administration’s devotion to creating a safe and secure environment for all.

While expressing gratitude towards attendees at the occasion, Sanwo-Olu commended the LNSC for deliberately choosing officers from their local communities, embodying a grassroots approach to intelligence gathering and community policing.

Speaking earlier, the General Manager of LNSC, Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan reiterated the Agency’s commitment to combat crime and tackle various security challenges while making Lagos State a habitable and safe place for residents of the State.

While noting that there are two other newly built stations situated at Ijede and Orile-Agege LCDA, the General Manager applauded Mr. Governor, the Lagos Attorney-General and key stakeholders for their continued support in the realisation of the project, admonishing the Officers of the Division to reciprocate by delivering on their mandate as expressed by the Law.
