Lobi Stars seek divine intervention for successful NPFL season

Lobi Stars have sought divine intervention ahead of the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

The Pride of Benue, led by its chairman, Dominic Iorfa, offered prayers at the Aper Aku Stadium.

The side will kick-start their NPFL campaign against Heartland on Saturday.

The matchday one encounter is billed for the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, Imo State.

Lobi Stars finished the 2022-23 NPFL season in sixth position after a poor display at the championship playoff in Lagos.

The club has no identified head coach going into the new NPFL season.
