Man Utd vs Man City: Referee, Stuart Attwell under attack for allowing Bruno Fernandes’ goal

Liverpool legend, Dietmar Hamann, has slammed referee Stuart Attwell for allowing Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes’ goal against Manchester City in Saturday’s Premier League derby.
Hamman said Attwell’s decision not to chalk off Fernandes’ goal against Manchester City on Saturday was ridiculous.
Fernandes stroked the ball past Man City goalkeeper Ederson after Marcus Rashford, who was in an offside position, made a run towards the ball before slowing down.
At that point of the match, Pep Guardiola’s side were leading 1-0 thanks to Jack Grealish’s header.
Few minutes after Fernandes’ goal was allowed to stand, Rashford converted Alejandro Garnacho’s low cross to win the match 2-1 for Erik ten Hag’s side.
In a tweet via his Twitter handle, Hamman criticized the referee for allowing Fernandes’ goal.
He tweeted, “How is that goal given? This is the most ridiculous decision I’ve ever seen. Give us our football back.”
