MAULUD NABIYY 2026: CAIDOV URGES PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE AMONG ALL FAITHS

On the occasion of Maulud Nabiyy 2026, the Centre Against Injustice and Domestic Violence , CAIDOVhas urged Nigerians of all faiths to embrace peace, love, tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

CAIDOV said the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) teaches compassion, unity, and respect for humanity, values that Nigeria needs now more than ever.

CAIDOV In a statement on Tuesday signed by Gbenga Soloki, Executive Director , the organization said:
“As we celebrate Maulud Nabiyy 2026, we call on all Nigerians, Muslims and Christians alike, to live together in peace and harmony. A peaceful Nigeria will guarantee prosperity for all. Let this season remind us that we are stronger together.”

CAIDOV therefore appeals to
all Nigerians to shun violence, religious intolerance, and acts capable of causing disunity,
While Religious Leaders are advised to use their platforms to preach peace, forgiveness and understanding

Government and Security Agencies are encouraged to ensure safety of lives and property during the celebrations
The Youths are admonished to reject hate speech and be ambassadors of peace in their communities

CAIDOV reaffirmed its commitment to promoting human rights, justice, and non-violence across Nigeria.

May the spirit of Maulud Nabiyy bring peace to every home and nation.
