Mayowa Alakija Planning Committee Announces Sub-Committee Members, Charges Them on Effective Delivery

The Planning Committee for the campaign flag-off of Hon. Mayowa Alakija, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I, has announced the composition of its sub-committees as part of efforts to ensure a successful and well-coordinated campaign flag-off. The committee unveiled the various teams, comprising party leaders, political stakeholders, ward representatives and other key members, while urging them to demonstrate commitment, teamwork and a strong sense of responsibility in delivering on their respective assignments.

In a statement issued by the Committee Secretary, Hon. Adekunle Kehinde, the chairmen of the various sub-committees were directed to convene meetings with their members and work diligently on their respective terms of reference. The statement noted that each committee would receive a list of items and responsibilities to deliberate upon, with a mandate to develop effective strategies for implementation, propose innovative ideas and prepare realistic budgets for their respective programmes. The sub-committees cover key areas, including campaign flag-off organisation, security and safety, media, campaign coordination, welfare, contacts and mobilisation, as well as programme and protocol.

The committee further directed all sub-committee chairmen to submit their budgets and resolutions to the Committee Secretary on or before Wednesday, October 21, 2026. It expressed confidence that the collective experience, dedication and organisational capacity of the appointed members would contribute to a successful campaign flag-off and strengthen the party’s mobilisation efforts across Oshodi-Isolo Constituency I. The committee called on all members to work collaboratively, adhere to the stipulated deadline and approach the assignment with the seriousness it deserves.
