Nasarawa United coach Arikya hails Gombe United after home draw

Nasarawa United Interim coach, Arikya Abubakar has hailed Gombe United following their 1-1 draw in the matchday 14 encounter.

The Savannah Scorpions took the lead in the 77th minute before Francis Ayuba equalised in the final five minutes of the game at the New Jos Stadium.

Arikya said the guests gave a good account of themselves in the game.

“Gombe United played better than us. They played to instructions which gave them the result. Arikya said in a post-match interview.

Nasarawa United remain in the relegation zone with 10 points from 14 games.

Gombe United are chasing a Super Six spot.
