NNL fines Joy Cometh, bans officials

The Nigeria National League has banned Joy Cometh coach Jide Oguntuase for four matches.

Oguntuase was banned for his deliberate attempt to distract their NNL final fixture against Ijebu United.

The NNL disciplinary committee also banned the club’s general manager Segun Ajiroba who was the second offender in the incident.

The incident occurred at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium Ijebu Ode last week.

Joy Comeths are also fined N1,000,000(One Million naira) for abandoning the match.

Ijebu United were awarded the winner of the match with three points and three goals.
