NNL: Kogi United Management sack entire team over poor performance

The management of Kogi United has sacked of the entire team in the state.

The Chairman of Kogi United and Confluence Queen Abdulmalik Isah Dolly disclosed this in a statement on Saturday.

The sacking of the entire team followed their poor performance in the current season of the Nigeria National League.

Abdulmalik, however, kept mute on the fate of the coach and other technical crew in the team.

DAILY POST gathered that on Saturday, Kogi United lost 4:0 away from home to Hypebuzz FC in Abuja.

They are now relegated to the lower division of the Nigerian League.

Kogi United failed to maintain their spot in the Nigeria National League in the last two seasons following their abysmal performances.
