NPFL: IMC dangles N100m at 2022/23 champions

Winners of the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League will smile home with a whopping N100m.

Chairman, Interim Management Committee (IMC) Gbenga Elegbeleye made the declaration during an interview on Kennis Radio on Monday.

“They promised to give last season’s winner ( Rivers United) N50 million which they are yet to pay till now,”Elegbeleye said.

“We don’t want to promise what we cannot do, the winner of the 2022/2023 season will get N100 million as a cash prize.”

The draw ceremony for the new campaign will be held on Wednesday at the Sandralia Hotel, Abuja.

The 2022/23 campaign will kick-off on January 8, 2023.
