NPFL: Lobi Stars’ home ground set for renovation

Lobi Stars’ home ground, the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi will undergo renovation in the next few weeks.

DAILY POST learnt that the Benue State Government, owners of the club, has approved the upgrading of the playing turf to international standard.

The Interim Management Committee (IMC) placed a ban on the Aper Aku Stadium at the start of the season for not meeting international standards.

Lobi Stars as a result of the ban have been playing their home games at the New Jos Stadium which belongs to Plateau United.

Momimichelle Sporting Facility Construction Limited will handle the upgrading of the turf.

Lobi Stars currently occupy first position on the NPFL Group B table with 16 points from eight games.
