NPFL: Remo Stars, Gombe United match abandoned

The Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 12 encounter between Remo Stars and Gombe United was abandoned on Sunday night.

The game was called off after the match officials refused to come out from the dressing room for the second half.

According to several sources, the match officials took the decision after they were assaulted in the dressing room.

Remo Stars were reduced to 10-men in the 44th minute.

The Interim Management Committee (IMC) is expected to take a decision on the abandoned match soon.

Eight other matches were played in the NPFL this weekend.
