NPFL: Wikki Tourists claim head coach Adamu yet to formally resign

Wikki Tourists claimed they are yet to formally receive a resignation letter from their head coach, Abdullahi Adamu.

The chairman of the club, Balarabe Yusuf Douglas stated that they saw Adamu’s resignation letter on social media.

Adamu announced his resignation from the position on Monday citing interference from the club’s management as the major reason behind his action.

“If he knew he was leaving, we expect him to officially submit his resignation letter just like the way we unveiled him for documentation purposes,” Douglas said in a statement released by the club on Wednesday.

Wikki Tourists are languishing in the bottom position on the Group B table.
