NPL playoff: Remo Stars hold Enyimba in four-goal thriller

Remo Stars twice rallied to hold Enyimba to a 2-2 draw in the opening game of the Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs.

No goal was recorded in the first half despite both teams creating clear-cut opportunities.

Enyimba scored the first goal of the game on the hour mark through Adiele Eriugo.

The lead lasted for 14 minutes before substitute Junior Lokosa restored parity for Remo Stars.

The league top scorer, Emeka Obioma, restored Enyimba’s lead from the spot nine minutes from time.
