Nwachukwu returns for Insurance’s Federation Cup final against Rangers

Super Eagles invitee Divine Nwachukwu has rejoined Bendel Insurance ahead of the Federation Cup final against Rangers at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, on Wednesday.

The midfielder rejoined his teammates in camp following the Super Eagles’ 3-2 victory against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone on Sunday.

The youngster was handed his maiden invitation to the Super Eagles for the game.

He was, however, named among the substitutes and didn’t get to make his debut.

Nwachukwu was welcomed to rousing cheers from his teammates before Bendel Insurance evening training on Monday night.

His return will boost Insurance’s chances of winning a fourth Federation Cup title.

The winner of the encounter will join Rivers United in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
