Oluwo unveils new wife, ‘Queen Firdaus of Iwoland’

Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo, has revealed his new wife, Princess Firdaus Abdullahi.

The monarch released stunning photographs of the new queen, along with a simple message reading, ‘Queen Firdaus of Iwoland.’

While the wedding ceremony is taking place in Kano, the royal father gave the images to the media on Saturday afternoon.

According to the invitation to the ceremony, Oba Akanbi would marry Princess Firdaus at the Madakin Kano’s home in Yola Quarters, Kano.

Further reports revealed that following the wedding, a ladies-only reception would be hosted at the palace of Kano’s Emir, Alhaji Aminu Bayero.
