Opara reunites with Ilechukwu at Rangers

Rangers have completed the signing of Austin Opara from Plateau United.

The experienced defender heads to the Coal City club after severing ties with the Peace Boys.

Opara will reunite with former Plateau United head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu at the club.

The pair had previously worked together at the defunct Mountain of Fire and Miracle Football Club in Lagos.

The centre-back spent two years at Plateau United.

Opara is one of the highly rated defenders in the Nigerian top-flight.
