A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former gubernatorial aspirant, Ayoade Adewopo aka Ayombo, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dailynewscover reports.

In a phone conversation with our correspondent Ayombo disclosed that he has left the PDP.

“It’s so unfortunate that the PDP remains unserious organisation and I cannot continue wasting my time and hard earned money on a party that has continued positioned itself on the path of failure,” he said.
