Park Vega Waterpark to Host Bumper Activities on Christmas, New Year

West Africa’s largest waterpark, Park Vega Waterpark, has concluded plans to make Nigeria’s preferred fun location a beehive of exciting activities this festive holiday. The water-based amusement park is located in Agbor, a major city in the tourism state of Delta. The waterpark is organizing a beauty pageant on the 24th of December, 2022, tagged: Queen Nigeria Beach Beauty Pageant. This will see the most beautiful girls in Nigeria show off their natural beauty.

On Christmas Day (December 25th), the park will harmonize several activities, many of which are based on research by the park and others requested by the teeming guests.

The park will also host its popular monthly party, Oceanview Party on December 26th, 2022. The party is a reenactment of the breathtaking beach party held in the Caribbean peninsula. The Oceanview party enables guests to experience rising waves, exciting swimming skills, and floating on the sea as the wave pool mimics the dynamics of the ocean.

This Christmas and New Year will be one for guests to remember as the waterpark takes several notches higher than the previous year’s celebration with more events lined up.

Kicking off the New Year segment of activities there will be a live band on the ground to serenade guests with melodious songs of new and old hits that will see heads involuntarily bopping to the rhythm. https://youtu.be/GB9bow9mm6U.

Still, in the party mood, the waterpark will usher in the New Year with a celebrative New Year Party on January 1st and Jan 2nd, 2023. Topping it all in style on January 3rd, 2023, there will be more entertainment lined up for the guests. With this roll call of activities, nothing can beat the fun at the largest waterpark in West Africa.

According to Mr Greatness, one of the guests who has been to the park eleven times, “I like everything I see and will be spending the festive season here with my family. The staff at the locker room are exceptional and professional.

Simply identified as Somto, another guest who visited the park for the first time said, “I had a fun-filled experience with my family and I was thrilled with the water slides. It was scary and fun at the same time. I can’t wait to return this festive season.”

The park will remain open throughout the festive season from December 15th 2022 to January 8th 2023. This will enable the park to adapt to the many requests by guests to open every day. The park will now open daily from 11 AM to 6 PM.

Standing before an audience of entertainment executives, artistes, influencers and industry stakeholders at the prestigious Voyage Lagos, Dada said the Diamonds had been carefully selected because of their exceptional talent and potential to shape the future of African music. “You are not here by accident. You were chosen because we saw something special in you. We saw talent, passion, discipline and the potential to become stars not just in your countries, but across Africa and the world. “I am challenging you today to go out and dominate the music space in the next two to three years. The opportunity is here. The platform is here. The spotlight is on you. The next move belongs to you,” he said. Dada said AFRIMA’s vision extends beyond celebrating established stars, stressing that the awards platform was committed to building a pipeline of globally competitive African talents. He noted that Africa’s growing youth population presents a unique opportunity for governments and industry leaders to invest in the creative sector. “The world is moving towards a content creation economy. Content is the new currency. Young people are creating value every day through music, digital media, fashion and entertainment. Our culture is our competitive advantage. The question is how we can leverage it for economic benefit, job creation and sustainable development. That is the direction AFRIMA is focused on, and we will continue to invest in initiatives that empower young Africans through creativity,” he said. The seven Diamonds earned their place after a rigorous selection process conducted by AFRIMA’s International Jury before being introduced to a wider audience through performances at the AFRIMA Music Village during the ninth AFRIMA Awards. At the party in their honour, the Diamonds once again took centre stage, delivering electrifying performances that left guests cheering and offered a glimpse into what could become the next wave of African music stars. An emotional Black Astro described the initiative as a turning point in his career. “This opportunity has changed everything for me. AFRIMA has given us visibility, confidence and access to people who can help shape our future. We are ready to show the world what we can do,” he said. Mayowa Afolabi said, “Being named an AFRIMA Diamond is a dream come true. This platform has given us an opportunity that many young artistes spend years searching for.” Ellacentric also expressed gratitude for the journey, describing the experience as a powerful reminder that perseverance and hard work can eventually pay off.
