PDP announces date for conclusion of Lagos congress

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved Saturday, Feb. 19, for the conclusion of its outstanding State Congress for the purpose of electing new State Executive Committee members in Lagos State

The party disclosed this in a statement issued by its National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature, on Thursday in Abuja.

The NWC, according to the statement, also scheduled a crucial meeting with Lagos State stakeholders on Monday, Feb. 7, at the Zonal Headquarters, Ibadan, Oyo State.

It added that the NWC would continue to update stakeholders on any development in that regard.
