Police apprehends suspect linked to death of Army Lieutenant in Delta

A suspect in the killing of an Army Lieutenant in Effurun, Delta State, has been apprehended by police.

The Army Lieutenant was shot dead in his private car on March 11 in Enerhen village, Uvwie council region of the state.

When the police received the complaint, they quickly went into action, initiating a manhunt for the murderers.

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Ari, confirmed this to journalists on Friday at the command headquarters in Asaba.

Similarly, the police presented some suspects accused of killing four rival cult members in Jesse, Ethiope West Local Government Area.

The commissioner stated that his officers will continue to be proactive in their efforts to combat crime.
