Ile-Ife, Nigeria –

Prince Ayoade Adewopo (Ayombo), President of the Ayombo Movement for Good Governance and the Johnson Adedoja Adewopo Foundation, has extended a heartfelt congratulatory message to Governor Ademola Adeleke on his successful re-election as Governor of Osun State.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Adeleke winner of the August 15 governorship election, securing 511,067 votes to defeat his closest rival, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 444,815 votes . Adeleke won in 19 of the state’s 30 local government areas, while the APC candidate won in 11.

In a statement issued from his office, Prince Adewopo described the victory as a profound testament to the unwavering trust and confidence the people of Osun State have placed in the governor’s leadership.

“This victory reflects the people’s acknowledgment of Governor Adeleke’s dedication and their strong will to see the continued development of our dear state under his guidance,” Adewopo stated. “As the governor rightly declared, the issues are now settled, and this triumph is a victory for democracy and the people of Osun.”
