Qatar 2022: You’ll cry today – Piers Morgan tells Messi, predicts scoreline of Argentina vs France

Popular British journalist Piers Morgan has predicted the worst for Lionel Messi when Argentina plays France in the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar on Sunday.

In his prediction on Twitter ahead of the game, Morgan believes “Messi will cry” and that Argentina will fall to a 3-1 defeat to the defending champions.

Morgan is a diehard supporter of Messi’s greatest rival Cristiano Ronaldo and does not want the Argentina captain to win the World Cup, a feat Ronaldo could not achieve this year.

Ronaldo and his Portuguese colleagues crashed out of the tournament in the hands of Morocco.

The anticipation builds towards the monumental clash between Les Blues and La Albiceleste at the Lusail Stadium.

Many are predicting how Messi could fare in what’s expected to be his final World Cup game.

“PREDICTION: France will beat Argentina 3-1 to win the World Cup. Mbappe will score twice; Griezmann will be MoM, and Messi will cry,” he tweeted.
