Rangers embark on two-week closed camping

Rangers have embarked on a two-week closed camping exercise to prepare adequately for the coming season.

Players and officials of the club arrived Awka, Anambra, on Thursday for the final phase of their preparations ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The Flying Antelopes have been training in Enugu since they started preparations under the guidance of new head coach Fidelis Ilechwuku last month.

The Coal City club were held to a 1-1 draw by oriental rivals Heartland in a friendly on Thursday.

Rangers will begin their 2023/24 campaign with a home fixture against Doma United.

The new season will commence on Saturday, September 9.
