Rangers resume training ahead of new season

Rangers have resumed training ahead of the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier League season.

20 players took part in the training session at the Liberty Estate, Independence Layout, training pitch in Enugu.

Newly invited players are expected to join the team later in the week.

The training session was overseen by the newly appointed Flying Antelopes head coach, Fidelis Ilechwuku.

The former Plateau United Coach replaced Abdullahi Maikaba in the dugout after a disappointing campaign last season.

Rangers finished the 2022-23 NPL season in eighth position and also suffered defeat in the final of the Federation Cup against Bendel Insurance.
