Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has said that bandits willing to renounce violence and embrace peace will not be turned away, but stressed that security operations against criminal elements will continue without relaxation.

Speaking during a media engagement, the police chief explained that accepting peace overtures does not translate to easing pressure on criminal networks.
