Serie A: Osimhen scores, assists in Napoli’s 2-1 win against Atalanta
Victor Osimhen continued his impressive scoring run as Napoli defeated Atalanta 2-1 away in their Serie A clash at the Gewiss Stadium on Saturday night.
The Partenopei remain unbeaten in the Italian top-flight this season with Luciano Spalletti’s side on course to win their first league title in over two decades.
Ademola Lookman put Atalanta ahead from the penalty spot in the 19th minute, scoring his fifth goal in his last six league games for La Dea.
Osimhen equalised for Napoli with a fine finish in the 23rd minute and set up Elif Elmas for the winning goal in the 35th minute. The 23-year-old has six goals in his last four league appearances for the Parthenopeans.
