Seun Kuti Embarrasses Big Sister, Yeni Kuti, at Her 60th Birthday Party

Seun Kuti, the youngest son of the legendary Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Tuesday, caused a stir after a video of him appeared on the social media walking out on Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu at his sister, Yeni Kuti’s 60th birthday.

The young saxophonist, who had openly demonstrated his hatred for the State governor in the past, criticizing him on certain state policies, reportedly said he could not withstand his presence at his sister’s celebration.

As the event progressed, Seun reportedly expressed his displeasure with Sanwo-Olu’s attendance by raising two middle fingers and later walked out on the governor, to the embarrassment of his celebrant sister and elder brother, Femi, who had jointly appealed to him to shelve his planned action.

However, Seun was later brought back to the venue by Femi Kuti whose intervention doused the tension.
