Shooting Stars promote youngster to first team

Olawale Tosin has been promoted to Shooting Stars’ first team for the 2023–24 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Tosin’s promotion will help increase competition on Gbenga Ogunbote’s team.

The skilled forward was one of the key stars on the Shooting Stars B team during the Nationwide League last season.

He led the team to a playoff spot.

Tosin has joined the rest of the team in Ijebu-Ode for closed camping ahead of the new season.

Shooting Stars will kick-start their NPFL campaign next week against Plateau United in Ibadan.
