Sporting Lagos sign South Sudan midfielder

Sporting Lagos have completed the signing of South Sudan midfielder, Joseph Loro.

Loro arrived Lagos on Tuesday to complete the move.

The 19-year-old signed a one-year with Paul Offor’s tutored side.

The South Sudan U-20 captain turned down a move to Belgian Pro League outfit, Standard Liege to join Sporting Lagos.

The talented midfielder featured for his country at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in March.

Sporting Lagos was established over a year ago.

The club gained promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League at the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoffs in Asaba last month.
