Transfer: Chelsea gives condition to allow Cucurella join Man United

Chelsea will only allow Marc Cucurella to move to Manchester United if the Red Devils are able to pay more than they are offering at the moment.

The two clubs are £5 million apart in their valuation of a loan deal for the Spaniard.

Chelsea is open to allowing the 25-year-old to leave Stamford Bridge this summer but wants his wages covered and a £7m loan fee.

Cucurella joined Chelsea for £62m from Brighton in 2022.

Manchester United are offering just £2m for the fullback and Chelsea is rejecting the proposal.

The two clubs are in talks as they seek to thrash out an agreement.

The Spaniard is keen on leaving Chelsea for Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils.
