Transfer: Ejuke joins Belgian club Royal Antwerp on loan

Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke has linked up with Belgian Pro League champions Royal Antwerp from CSKA Moscow on a season-long loan deal.

Royal Antwerp announced Ejuke’s arrival on their official Twitter handle on Sunday.

The 25-year-old used an exemption from FIFA for players active in Russia to make the switch.

The Nigerian spent last season on loan at German club Hertha Berlin.

Ejuke struggled with injuries for most of the campaign and couldn’t help the capital club avoid relegation.

The talented winger has also played in Norway for Valerenga and in The Netherlands for Heerenveen.
