Transfer: Ex-NPL top scorer Lokosa joins Sporting Lagos

Former Nigeria Premier League top scorer Junior Lokosa has reportedly linked up with Sporting Lagos FC.

Lokosa penned a short-term contract with the NPL’s new boys.

The 29-year-old was in the books of Remo Stars last season.

The former Esperance star scored twice for the Ikenne club in the NPL Playoffs in Lagos.

Sporting Lagos, established one year ago, gained promotion to the NPL from the Nigeria National League last week.

The club will look to bring in more players ahead of their debut appearance in the Nigerian top flight.

Lokosa started his professional career with First Bank of Lagos.
