Transfer: He’s best in everything – Smith Rowe hails Arsenal’s new signing

Arsenal midfielder, Emile Smith Rowe has described Declan Rice as the best in everything he does.

He said that his England international teammate is a real leader who gives all during training.

Rice, who is widely tipped to become England next captain, is in the concluding stage of his move to Arsenal.

The West Ham United midfielder has been the Gunners’ top target this summer.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal and West Ham have agreed upon a £105 million transfer fee for the Hammers captain.

Speaking to The Sun, Rowe, who has once played alongside Rice in England’s senior team in a friendly with Ivory Coast, said, “I can’t speak highly enough of him. I remember my first camp and I was surprised with how good he actually was.

“He was the best in training. Just his level, intensity, technically, everything he was doing.

“A real leader and still so young. He was really, really good.”

“Manchester City were also interested in signing Rice but Arsenal made a bigger bid to convince the Hammers,” Rowe said.
