Transfer: Hojlund runs 100 metres in 11 seconds – Fisichella hails incoming Man Utd striker

Italian football correspondent Daniele Fisichella has hailed Manchester United-bound striker Rasmus Hojlund.

The 20-year-old will join the Red Devils for about £72 million in a matter of days.

While many of Manchester United’s fans have not seen him in action, Fisichella watched Hojlund extensively in Serie A last season.

He said that Hojlund is one of the most exciting young stars to play in Italy in recent years.

According to him, the young striker has everything he needs to become a real weapon under Ten Hag’s tutelage.

“Hojlund was a breath of fresh air in Serie A last season because he’s a young player, 20 years old, very strong physically, but still very, very technical,” Fisichella told talkSPORT.

“He runs the 100 metres in less than 11 seconds; he’s very powerful; he has got a very good acceleration.

“He’s got a bit of everything. He is very energetic because of his young age and his physique; he is a very strong presser of the ball.”
