Transfer: I don’t know Cristiano Ronaldo – Al-Nassr President, Al-Muammar

Al-Nassr claim they have not held talks about signing Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 37-year-old is now without a club after his contract with Manchester United was terminated last month following an interview with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo is now a free agent and has been linked with a move to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

But when asked about a move for the Portugal captain, Al-Nassr President, Musalli Al-Muammar jokingly replied: “Who is Ronaldo? I don’t know him.”

In a subsequent interview with SSC Sports, he added: “Ronaldo is busy with the World Cup.

“I don’t think that he is in negotiations with anyone.”

Ronaldo is currently training in Real Madrid facilities in Spain to keep fit before he joins a new team.
