Transfer: I know – Real Madrid’s ex-player reveals Modric’s next move

Former Real Madrid player, Predrag Mijatovic, has insisted that midfielder Luka Modric wants to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu beyond the summer.

Mijatovic, who was on Real Madrid’s books between 1996 and 1999, is believed to be a close friend of Modric.

Modric’s current contract with Real Madrid will expire at the end of the season.

The Croatia international is yet to sign a new contract with the La Liga champions.

Speaking on the El Larguero show on Cadena SER, Mijatovic said: “I know Modrić wants to stay.

“His wish is to renew one more year.”
