Transfer: New Aston Villa boss, Emery wants Chukwueze reunion
Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery is seeking a reunion with Nigeria winger, Samuel Chukwueze at the club.
Emery was until recently Chukwueze’s boss at LaLiga club, Villarreal.
The Spaniard is now set to raid his former club with Chukwueze among the players he is interested in bringing to England, according to the Daily Star.
Emery is also interested in forward Nicolas Jackson and winger Yeremy Pino.
During Emery’s reign at Villarreal, Chukwueze played 94 games across all competitions.
He scored 14 goals and recorded 15 assists.
The 23-year-old was snapped up by Villarreal from Diamond Football Academy in 2018.
