Transfer: Nigerian midfielder Michael joins Austrian club

Former Flying Eagles midfielder Kingsley Michael has linked up with Austrian club, DSV Leoben.

Michael joined the Austrian Liga 2 club from Serie A outfit, Bologna.

The midfielder signed a five-year contract with his new club.

The transfer was completed before the end of the summer transfer window last week Friday.

The 24-year-old joined Bologna in 2018 but has struggled to establish himself at the club.

Michael made a paltry five appearances in his six seasons at the club.

The player has represented Nigeria at the U-17 and U-20 level.

He has one cap for the Super Eagles.
