Transfer: Scottish club Rangers confirm departure of Oforboh

Scottish Premiership club, Glasgow Rangers have confirmed the departure of former Flying Eagles midfielder, Nnamdi Oforboh.

Oforboh joined the Light Blues from Premier League club, Bournemouth last summer.

The 23-year-old was, however, unable to make an appearance for Rangers as he was diagnosed with a heart problem.

The Gers failed to give any reason for the termination of his contract.

“Rangers can today announce that the club and Nnamdi Ofoborh have mutually agreed to end his contract, ” reads a statement on the club’s official website.

“The midfielder, who joined Rangers at the start of the 2021-22 season has opted to pursue a career elsewhere.

“Everyone at Rangers wishes Nnamdi all the very best of luck for the future.”
