Transfer: Ten Hag blocks Man Utd star from leaving Old Trafford

Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, has blocked Tom Heaton from leaving the club.

According to the Telegraph, Heaton has asked to leave Man United this summer transfer window, with Luton keen on signing him.

However, Ten Hag wants the 37-year-old to stay at Man United because of the ongoing uncertainty surrounding goalkeeper David de Gea’s future at the club.

De Gea looks set to leave United at the end of his contract, while Dean Henderson could also be on his way out of the Red Devils.

Ten Hag’s side want to sign Inter Milan’s Andre Onana, but Heaton has been asked to stay until suitable replacements are signed.
