Transfer: That’s what you’ll be forever – PSG President sends message to Neymar as he leaves club

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) President, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has sent an emotional message to Neymar after the forward completed a move to Saudi Arabian giants Al-Hilal.

Neymar has joined Al-Za’eem from PSG on a two-year deal.

The Brazilian has cost the Saudi Pro League side € 80 million and becomes the latest household name to arrive in the Middle East.

However, Al-Khelaifi has now sent a parting message to the former Barcelona star after his departure from the Parisians on Tuesday.

Al-Khelaifi said (via the club’s official Twitter account): “It is inevitably difficult to say goodbye to a legend of the Club and that’s what Neymar will be forever.”

Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona back in 2017 for a world record fee of €222 million.

He made 173 appearances for the Parisians, scoring 118 goals and providing 77 assists during his time at the French Ligue 1 champions.
