Transfer: Turkish club Trabzonspor join race to sign Onuachu

Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor are the latest suitors to be linked with a move for Southampton forward Paul Onuachu.

The Nigeria international is keen to leave Southampton following the Saints’ relegation from the Premier League.

Southampton paid €18 million to secure his services from Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk.

The 29-year-old failed to register a goal in 11 league appearances for the South Coast club.

A number of German clubs are also reportedly interested in Onuachu.

Borussia Monchengladbach are in contact with Southampton.

VfB Stuttgart and Schalke 04 are also interested in the player.
