Turkey: Dennis makes winning debut with Istanbul Basaksehir

Emmanuel Dennis enjoyed a winning start at Istanbul Basaksehir following the club’s 2-0 victory at Istanbulspor on Sunday.

The Nigeria international joined the Turkish Super Lig outfit on a season-long loan deal from Nottingham Forest on Friday.

The 25-year-old was named among the substitutes in the game.

The versatile forward replaced Deniz Turuc in the 68th minute.

Dimitris Pelkas and Joao Figuerido scored both goals for Istanbul Basaksehir.

The win was Istanbul Basaksehir’s first of the season, as they lost their previous three league games.
