U-17 AFCON: Golden Eaglets coach Ugbade reveals team’s ambition in Algeria

Golden Eaglets head coach, Nduka Ugbade has identified the need for his team to be modest in their approach at the upcoming Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Algeria.

Ugbade’s boys will face Zambia, Morocco and South Africa in Group B at the competition.

The Eaglets, who will be making a record 10th apperance in Algeria, will play all their group games at the Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium, Constantine.

“It’s quite interesting. We have always been waiting for this moment. We will face every team as they come,” Ugbade told CAFonline.

“One after the other. We are not talking about winning the AFCON. We are talking and planning about winning each match. One after the other. We will fight.”

The biennial competition will be played between 29 April and 19 May 2023.
