UCL: He’s so explosive – Joe Cole names most exciting player in world football

Former Chelsea star, Joe Cole has identified Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe as the most exciting footballer in the world.

Cole said this while praising Mbappe following the player’s impressive performance during PSG’s Champions League group stage 2-1 win over Juventus on Wednesday.

According to him, the 23-year-old France international is capable of achieving ‘anything’ given his quality, adding that he can do things that no other player can do.

Recall that Mbappe scored a goal in PSG’s victory over Juventus in Turin.

Speaking on BT Sport, Cole said: “[Mbappe] He’s so explosive, he’s the most exciting player in world football now without a doubt. He can do things that no other player can do – the pace and power, I absolutely love him.

“I think it’s a great analogy of R9 and Henry, because he is a cross between – that’s a massive compliment. If he stays fit, which is a big if and carries on the way he’s going he can do anything I mean, what a player.”

Mbappe has scored 18 goals across all competitions for PSG so far this season.
