Big Brother Titans housemate, Mmeli, has explained why he distastes Valentine’s Day celebration.

Mmeli was put on the spot by Biggie about his Valentine’s Day stand during the Jenneli (Jenni O and Mmeli) diary session on Thursday.

The duo was asked who their Val would be for the day. Jenni O said she would pick Nana, while Mmeli said he would be alone for the day.

Jenni O then told Biggie that Mmeli has always voiced his hatred for Valentine Day celebrations.

Responding to Biggie’s enquiry, Mmeli said his disdain for the day came after his ex-lover cheated on him on Valentine’s Day.

“First thing first, I was cheated on, on Valentine’s Day, so it’s one of the reasons I don’t like the day. Also, I don’t like the idea of having a particular day to celebrate love,” he said. Mmeli further explained that if people can profess love every day, then they should celebrate love every day.

Jenneli is up for possible eviction on Sunday, meaning they might not be part of Valentine’s Day celebration in the Titans house on Tuesday.

Other housemates up for eviction are Khosicle (Khosi and Miracle), Juiovla (Juicy Jay and Olivia), Juvone (Justin and Yvonne), Kaniva (Kananga Junior and Blue Aiva), Yelisa (Yemi Cregx and Nelisa) and Thabana (Thabang and Nana).
