Wikki Tourists deny signing missing Doma United goalkeeper without permission

The management of Wikki Tourists has denied signing goalkeeper Abdullahi Zalli without his club, Doma United’s consent.

Doma United declared Zalli missing last week following the goalkeeper’s failure to resume training with them after the mid-season break.

The Savannah Tigers threatened a lawsuit against any club that signed the player, who they claimed is still under contract.

Zalli was, however, pictured penning a contract with Wikki Tourists at the weekend.

Wikki Tourists have now claimed they had previously notified Doma United of their interest in the shot-stopper.

Both clubs are expected to reach an amicable solution on Zalli’s transfer in the next couple of days.
